About the guest:  

Andrew Silsby is the president and CEO of Kennebec Savings Bank, a long-standing community bank that supports the Central Maine region’s economic and community development, while providing their customers with a great banking experience.  

Andrew has worked up through the ranks in banking, starting as a teller in 1986 to his position now as president and CEO. He has performed nearly every job function in banking over the past 33 years, getting to know banking inside and out, making him uniquely qualified to lead the institution that’s so important to his community. 

Andrew is motivated by his long-term vision of a vibrant, attractive and successful capitol region with opportunities for young people to put down roots and start a family. As a hands-on leader, he enjoys rolling up his sleeves and pitching in wherever he is needed, in both the bank and the community. He is involved with many of the area nonprofit boards, such as the Chamber of Commerce, the library and many other organizations as part of his commitment to creating a vibrant community.
